As a result of our work on innovation and improvement since 1998, we have installedover 400 machines in more than twenty countries.

MECO's revolutionary system is based on the precision and speed offered by its machines. We get this accuracy because our broaching machines work directly with the specific groove width to be slotted in addition to a lack of vibrations and the rigidity of the work.

We also offer a wide variety of designs for our slotting machines. Among others, they include:

• Grooves for keyways or notches.
• Polygonal shapes such as squares, rectangles, hexagons, etc.
• Splines with a certain number of grooves
• Spiral
• Special parts

They all eliminate any burrs that might appear in the keyseating process.

Our original system does not use lateral displacement to enlarge keyways; when they have to be enlarged, we use the tool or cutting edge to get the exact measurement extremely accurately.

To work more comfortably, at MECO we have incorporated a cooling system to make the process easier.

MECO keyseating machines have a tool-holder for long life cobalt contacts as they can be sharpened from the front several times thanks to their length and constant profile. In this way, the width measurement is not lost and it lasts longer. In addition, when necessary, the tool-holder can be changed quickly (3-4 seconds), simply (using a morse taper), effectively (automatically centred) and reliably (completely locked and immobile).

In addition, our slotting machines include a rotary indexing fully fitted on the work bench, ready to be used, both on manual and automatic machines. A table that slides on guides in a pyramid shape, providing a solid support for the operator and the part. In addition, MECO broaching machines have a recoil system so that the parts do not rub against the tool, thereby stopping the cutting edge from breaking.

The change in run should also be highlighted for its speed, precision (with an error of ±0.1 mm) and modernity.

MECO keyseating machines are adapted to small, medium-sized and large productions, always offering maximum productivity, efficacy and precision in grooving thanks to:

The tool or cutting edge does not depend on the manufacturer but you can manufacture them yourself. This, along with the fact that the tool always remains fixed, means that the useful life of the tool is up to 30 times longer than conventional slotting machines.

Our machines do not require maintenance. They also come with a CE certificate and guarantee a minimum consumption cost in exchange for a long lasting tool.
